Persons wanting to give their time and talents to make a difference in the lives of others are invited to join the SRMC Volunteer Team known as Friends of Sumner Regional, where opportunities are provided for making new friends, helping others, broadening skills and knowledge, and bringing happiness to those in need. Through their unselfish spirit of giving, volunteers enhance the mission of the hospital by giving very good service to our customers.

Friends of Sumner Regional oversee fundraising events to support medical student education and indigent care for Sumner Regional patients as well as donate profits from Simply Sumner Gift & Coffee Shoppe to the hospital for needed medical equipment.
