The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons has awarded Sumner Regional Medical Center Cancer Program its 2006 CoC Outstanding Achievement Award (OAA). Only 31 cancer facilities across the country have received this honor, and the number represents approximately six percent of the programs surveyed during 2006.
