Cardiographics

Sumner Regional Medical Center’s cardiographics services include all diagnostic testing for the heart and lungs, including:

• Stress testing


• Cardiolyte testing, also known as nuclear medicine


• Holter monitoring


• Event recording


• Echocardiography (an ultrasound that visualizes heart valves and chambers)


• EKGs

Tests are administered by respiratory therapists, registered cardiovascular technicians and other health care professionals. The department provides testing Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A physician’s order is required.
